Learn Music Theory

There are many theory books to choose from. My favorite is Ann Lawry's, "Just the Facts," and "Just the Facts II, by Ann Lawry and Regina Roper." These two series are created and designed especially for piano students, by piano teachers. Unlike many other theory books, they have built in review. Students have the opportunity to practice and build on such skills as: chord writing, vocabulary, note naming, rhythm counting and writing, ear training, sight reading and more.
